InterCampus Loan: Sending an Item to Your Campus

What is an InterCampus Loan?

We can send items from one Germanna campus library to another. Intercampus lending deliveries are made between FAC, LGC, and DTC libraries Monday through Friday. Stafford Center deliveries are made on Tuesday and Thursday.

How do I request an item as an Intercampus Loan?

First, use the Library Catalog (QuickSearch) to locate items owned by GCC. You may request an intercampus loan by:

  • Placing a hold on the item in the Library Catalog, QuickSearch (see instructions to the right)
  • Requesting an InterCampus Loan in person at any campus library.

Requested items will be held for two weeks. If items are not used or checked out within that time, they will be returned to the library that owns the items.
