Biography - Library Research Guide

This database contains the "Great Lives from History" series of reference books, which provides critical essays on important people from many different eras of history, including the 20th century. The series is international in scope.

This database provides access to numerous biographical dictionaries, as well as other biographical sources, including Modern American Lives, and Notable American Women.

Includes all of the critical essays from volumes 1-374 of the print Dictionary of Literary Biography series, with the exception of materials from the DLB "documentary" and "yearbook" volumes. (Images from the print volumes are also excluded for copyright reasons.)
