This database provides access to 262 prestigious journals published by Oxford University Press (OUP).  OUP prides itself on being both part of and a partner in the academic community.  OUP has the highest percentage of journals in the top 10% by impact (ISI Impact Factor ranking).  These journals are published in collaboration in collaboration with influential scholarly and professional societies in order to provide authoritative research and scholarship.

Subject coverage of these journals includes the fields of medicine (81 titles), life sciences (46 titles), humanitites (70 titles), social sciences (59 titles), mathematics & physical sciences (33 titles), and law (35 titles).  Content offered in this database dates back to 1996.

The search function of this database provides the researcher with the opportunity to search with specific citation information including Article Title, Author(s), journal title, publication year, volume number, and DOI number.  Users can also limit searches to specific journals or subjects including humanities, law, life sciences, mathematics & physical science, medicine, and social science as shown below.

Search results pages provide access to citation information and article abstracts.  Direct links to the journal in which the article was published are also provided.  Additionally, PDF versions of articles are also provided.  From the PDF view of most articles, users have additional options including being alerted when the article is cited, finding similar articles, downloading the article citation, and requesting permissions.
